Protected Cropping Australia (PCA), the national peak industry body for the protected cropping sector, is excited to announce the launch of two new membership categories tailored specifically for growers: Individual Grower Membership and Corporate Grower Membership. With significantly reduced fees, these new categories aim to make PCA’s resources, training, and community more accessible than ever, supporting a broader range of growers in Australia’s expanding protected cropping industry.
The Individual Grower Membership, available at a reduced fee of only $50, is designed for individual growers looking to access valuable resources, training, and industry networking opportunities. This category makes PCA’s resources more affordable for independent growers, empowering them to engage with and benefit from the latest in protected cropping technology, research, and best practices.
In addition, PCA’s Corporate Grower Membership offers enhanced value for companies with up to five employee members for an annual fee of $220. This option provides companies greater access to PCA’s resources for multiple employees, enabling teams to stay informed, develop their skills, and connect with industry peers through PCA’s rich offering of learning opportunities and collaborative platforms.
Both new membership categories provide full access to the new PCA Member365 platform, featuring an in-built learning management system that offers courses, training resources, and a community space for peer interaction, allowing members to deepen their expertise and expand their professional networks. Member365 is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the protected cropping sector, helping growers stay at the forefront of industry developments.
“Supporting our growers and making valuable resources accessible to them is a core priority for PCA,” said Andrew Tout, Chair of Protected Cropping Australia. “With these new membership categories, we’re pleased to offer tailored options for both individual and corporate growers, which will help them to stay connected, to find support from peers, and provide them with tools and resources to succeed and grow sustainably.”
The launch of these membership categories is part of PCA’s commitment to fostering a strong, collaborative, and well-informed protected cropping community in Australia. By creating affordable pathways for more growers to join, PCA continues to strengthen the sector’s resilience, adaptability, and innovation.
